Trumpets, wing horn, composer, orchestrator
He started his musical studies at the Ferenc Liszt Music Arts School in Baja, continued at the Béla Bartók Music Arts College and finished at the Department of Jazz of the University of Ferenc Liszt Music Arts. He is a widely acknowledged a soloist, composer and orchestrator in Europe.
He established the Budapest Jazz Orchestra and was its art manager and soloist form 1998 until 2005. From October 2005 he has been the manager of Modern Art Orchestra. In February 2006 he founded his own quartet the Fekete-Kovács Kornél Quartet. He has been leading semesters at the Department of Jazz of the University of Ferenc Liszt Music Arts and teaching at the Music Studio of Kőbánya.
Along his career he had been played in several famous international bands like the IASJ Big Band Copenhagen, or the EBU Big Band Amsterdam and Budapest, or the Brande International Music Workshop Orchestra, Denmark; UMO Jazz Orchestra Finland; Central European Jazz Connection, Finish-Hungarian Jazz Workshop.
